New Statewide Policy Begins in 2025–2026
Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, all Arkansas public schools—including Rose Bud—will enforce Act 122, also known as the “Bell to Bell, No Cell” law. This policy limits student use of personal electronic devices during the school day. Here’s What Rambler Families Need to Know: Devices not allowed during the school day include: •Cell phones •Smartwatches •Tablets •Non-school laptops •Earbuds or headphones •Any personal digital device From the first bell to the last bell, students must: •Keep devices off or silenced •Store them in backpacks or lockers •Avoid using them in classrooms, halls, restrooms, the cafeteria, or study time Allowed Exceptions: •Emergencies (with admin approval) •After-school extracurriculars •School-issued devices for classwork •IEP/504 accommodations •College or concurrent classes needing devices Violations may lead to device confiscation, parent contact, and disciplinary action as outlined in the 2025–2026 Rose Bud Student Handbook. Let’s work together to protect instruction time, minimize distractions, and help our Ramblers stay focused and ready to learn! See your child's student handbook for complete policy details under “Bell to Bell, No Cell. Comments are closed.
