We are grateful to share that a Rose Bud Graduate Family is donating $1,500 to the Rose Bud Basketball Program in memory of J.T. “Johnny” Rocka Jr., Rose Bud Class of 1964.
He absolutely loved basketball, and Coach Rusty was one of his lifelong friends. The tenacity and lessons he learned on the court served him throughout his entire life. We believe the message he would share with kids today is to play all out in every aspect of life, on and off the court, take healthy risks, and take care of your teammates. The presentation will take place Tuesday, December 2nd, during halftime of the Sr. Girls game. Game Schedule: 4:30 PM – JG / JB / SG / SB We deeply appreciate this meaningful contribution honoring the legacy of Johnny Rocka. |

We’re so excited to share this special tradition with our students and families. Please note that we’re unable to accommodate walk-ins, as all meals were planned and prepared in advance, so those eating had to have paid ahead of time and signed up. Arkansas Policy: Bell to Bell-No CellNew Statewide Policy Begins in 2025–2026
Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, all Arkansas public schools—including Rose Bud—will enforce Act 122, also known as the “Bell to Bell, No Cell” law. This policy limits student use of personal electronic devices during the school day. Here’s What Rambler Families Need to Know: Devices not allowed during the school day include: •Cell phones •Smartwatches •Tablets •Non-school laptops •Earbuds or headphones •Any personal digital device From the first bell to the last bell, students must: •Keep devices off or silenced •Store them in backpacks or lockers •Avoid using them in classrooms, halls, restrooms, the cafeteria, or study time |
Allowed Exceptions:
•Emergencies (with admin approval) •After-school extracurriculars •School-issued devices for classwork •IEP/504 accommodations •College or concurrent classes needing devices Violations may lead to device confiscation, parent contact, and disciplinary action as outlined in the 2025–2026 Rose Bud Student Handbook. Let’s work together to protect instruction time, minimize distractions, and help our Ramblers stay focused and ready to learn! See your child's student handbook for complete policy details under “Bell to Bell, No Cell. |
